Southerly flow is giving us summer-like weather, but not much in the way of surf. 2′ dribblers today and Wednesday but things change come Thursday. A cold front will pass then stall generating ENE winds and much cooler temperatures. This weather pattern will hover over us all Memorial Day weekend…but the good news it will produce some surf! Seas will jump up into the 4-5′ range on Friday from the E, and will continue to build into the 5-6′ range by Saturday! Again, we are looking at onshore winds so don’t expect the cleanest conditions, but you can expect chunky head high+ surf. The pattern holds through Sunday and seas will begin to drop, but as of right now it looks like Monday we could see a clean up with light W winds. Stay tuned for more Memorial Day weekend updates!
Water is in the mid-upper 50s so a good 3/2 is the call. Boots are optional.
